Travelex – Anti-Money Laundering

Requirement

Money Laundering Compliance elearning To ensure compliance with the Financial Services Authority requirement for those working in the Financial Services industry to ‘know your customer’ to help combat potential money laundering activity, Travelex required an Anti-Money Laundering programme with the following criteria: it could be easily updated by them (in order to cope with the ever-changing regulations) and it needed to be developed within a short timescale. A further consideration was that the learning style was simple and intuitive for the user, but as engaging as possible considering the factual and regulatory nature of the content.

Solution

Prior to meeting with us, Travelex had already identified their chosen self-authoring tool – Composica Enterprise - which is a web-based e-learning system that provides a programming-free environment to create interactive elearning content.

However, in order the to meet the deadline for the compliance training and to provide an appealing learning experience, Travelex enlisted Copia’s help to design the layout, provide Flash based animations and imagery, script the content and build the initial programme. In parallel with this, Travelex staff undertook training on the software, to allow them to update the programme in the future.
